ANOTHER WEIRD, BORING, ANTISOCIAL ARTIST
My name is Nok Escueta, I'm a freelance artist who primarily works in digital arts but am now branching out into traditional arts using various mediums, particularly acrylic. I also do some sculpture and figure work. The majority of my artworks reflect deep and dark emotions to which most people can relate. I want people to connect with my art pieces and feel something when they see them. I also included some open poetry in some of the pieces to add more emotion to the work. My goal is to capture the vulnerability and fragility of those who look at my work.
Midnight thoughts is about the voices you heard at midnight, its about your fragility, solitude and vulnerability, a series of open poetry of random stranger thoughts that people may connect. It allows you to talk to a stranger and tell them everything that bothers you. Midnight Thoughts addresses various issues such as losing someone, falling in love, harassment, anxiety, and many more. Midnight Thoughts is a personal project of mine. It was previously a social experiment in which people shared their Midnight Thoughts, and I drew it and shared it on my social media page. soon it became an NFT Project in Opensea, with over 100 plus digital pieces now. Midnight Thoughts is currently making its way into the physical world. It was seen on New York billboards for nft.nyc Last JUNE 20-23, 2022. and has been exhibited in a few galleries here the Philippines.
